Science Writing: Impact of the pandemic on life

COVID-19 pandemic had affected almost every sphere of life. The economy suffered, students had to stick to the digital screens, families lost their loved ones, and so on. Many online businesses were benefited from the pandemic, including all tech giants, OTT platforms, and video-conferencing clients. The poor suffered the most.
We were asked to leave the college and reside in our homes. For me, I lost many friends and relationships due to limited bonding. Screen time increased a lot, leading to dark circles. Social life is meaningless these days. I really miss the serenity of college, the interaction with colleagues, and gazing at stars at night. No trips are possible nowadays, no parties or get together; even cannot celebrate festivals properly. Whenever I have to go out, there is a fear that I’ll catch Corona. This has become a new normal. I think that it will take too long for life to return back to the good normal. I pray for those who lost their loved ones.
